Lincoln University is a public research university located in Lincoln, New Zealand. It was founded in 1878 and is considered to be the oldest agricultural teaching institution in the Southern Hemisphere. The campus is located in a rural setting, approximately 22 kilometres from Christchurch, the largest city in the South Island of New Zealand.
